Oral Health Africa Initiative is a nonprofit organization established in March 2018 with the sole aim of increasing oral health awareness and reducing the global economic burden of oral diseases by prioritizing primordial and primary prevention strategies. OHAI focuses primarily on hard-to-reach and neglected communities in Africa, where oral health is a luxury. We provide comprehensive oral health care and education to these communities with little or no access to dental care.

Since inception, the Founder, Dr Blessing Odupitan has set a goal of reaching at least two states every year in Nigeria, being the 'target' country now to alleviate the suffering caused by dental diseases. On each outreach, OHAI team educate the communities on the need to prioritize their general health and well-being, while not neglecting their oral health. Daily dental care aids are usually distributed on these outreaches and routine dental procedures such as scaling and polishing,  basic dental restorations and simple extractions are carried out.
